Rage House | Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: May 1, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Rage House services and your visit to our location at 15825 Bellaire Blvd, Suite D, Houston, TX 77083. By booking a session, entering our premises, or participating in any activity, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

These Terms work together with our Refund & Cancellation Policy and our Privacy Policy, each of which is incorporated by reference. They also work together with the Participant Release of Liability and Accident Waiver (“Waiver”) that each participant signs before participating. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the signed Waiver on a matter the Waiver addresses, the signed Waiver controls.

1. Definitions

“Rage House”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Rage House and its owners, agents, employees, affiliates, and landlords (collectively, the “Releasees“).

“Activities” means rage rooms, smash rooms, splatter rooms, rage painting, special events, and all related activities offered by Rage House on or off our premises.

“Participant” and “you” mean any person who books, enters our premises, or participates in any Activity, and (where applicable) the parent or legal guardian of a minor participant.

2. Eligibility

To participate at Rage House, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old to participate alone, or
  • Be at least 8 years old with a parent or legal guardian present and a parent or guardian’s signed Waiver
  • Be sober — free from alcohol, drugs, or any impairing substance
  • Disclose any health conditions that may affect safe participation

Health restrictions. Use of smash, rage, and splatter rooms is not recommended for people suffering from:

  • Asthma
  • Epilepsy
  • Cardio/respiratory disorders
  • Hypertension
  • Skeletal, joint, or ligament problems or conditions
  • Certain mental illnesses

In addition, pregnant individuals (or those who suspect they may be pregnant) and persons who have consumed alcohol are not permitted to participate. If you have any concern about your medical condition or fitness to engage in the Activities, you are advised to consult with your medical practitioner before booking. Participation by individuals with the conditions listed above is at your own discretion and risk.

Rage House staff may deny entry or participation to anyone who, in our sole judgment, does not meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Liability Waiver

All participants must complete and sign the Rage House Participant Release of Liability and Accident Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity and Photo Release Agreement (the “Waiver”) before entering any rage room, splatter room, or other Activity area. Participants under 18 require a Waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to its terms on behalf of both themselves and the minor.

Failure to sign the Waiver will result in denial of participation; refund implications are addressed in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Assumption of Risk

You understand and acknowledge that the Activities involve unusual risks, dangers, and hazards, including but not limited to:

  • A. Slips, trips, falls, flying debris, cuts, abrasions, or impacts from equipment
  • B. Injuries from improper use of equipment or protective gear
  • C. Accidents caused by other participants or staff
  • D. Equipment malfunction or property hazards
  • E. Aggravation of existing medical conditions
  • F. Eye, ear, or hearing injuries; emotional or psychological responses; injury, death, or property loss

Participation in the Activities may result in injury, worsening of an existing medical condition, or death. By booking and participating, you freely accept and fully assume all such risks, whether foreseen or unforeseen, and whether arising from the conduct of Releasees, other participants, or otherwise.

5. Release of Liability and Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive any and all claims and release the Releasees from any and all liability for any loss, damage, expense, or injury (including death) that you or your next of kin may suffer as a result of your participation in any Activity, due to any cause whatsoever, including negligence, breach of contract, or breach of any statutory or other duty of care, including any duty of care on the part of the Releasees. You understand that negligence includes the failure on the part of the Releasees to take reasonable steps to safeguard or protect you from the risks, dangers, and hazards of the Activities.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from all liability for any property damage or personal injury to any third party (including members of your group) resulting from your participation in or conduct on the premises.

This release is binding upon your heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, assigns, and representatives, in the event of your death or incapacity.

6. Required Safety Equipment

Safety gear — including but not limited to helmets, face shields or goggles, gloves, and protective coveralls or jumpsuits — must be worn at all times in the rage room. Rage House provides this equipment. Failure to wear required safety gear or follow safety instructions is grounds for immediate termination of your session, with refund consequences as set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Rules of Conduct

While on the premises, you agree to:

  • Smash only the items provided by Rage House, or items you have brought that have been pre-approved by staff (see Section 8)
  • Use only the tools and weapons provided or approved by staff
  • Follow all instructions from Rage House staff immediately
  • Stay within designated areas
  • Not engage in physical contact with other participants, staff, or anyone else on the premises
  • Not remove items, equipment, or safety gear from the premises
  • Not tamper with fire alarms, sprinklers, security cameras, or other safety systems
  • Not engage in aggressive, threatening, reckless, or harassing behavior toward staff or other guests

Violation of any of these rules is grounds for removal from the premises. Refund consequences are addressed in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8. Bring-Your-Own (BYO) Items

You may request to bring your own items to smash. All BYO items must be approved by Rage House before your session. Certain items — including but not limited to large televisions, items containing hazardous materials (such as mercury, lead, refrigerants, or chemicals), pressurized containers, ammunition, and items that may produce dangerous shrapnel — are not permitted.

Pricing and item-quantity guidelines for BYO sessions are available on our booking page or by request. Items brought without prior approval may be denied at the door.

9. Damage to Property

You agree to follow all safety instructions, verbal and written, provided by Rage House staff at all times. You understand that any damage to equipment, props, fixtures, or the facility that results from ignoring, refusing, or deviating from staff instructions is your financial responsibility. Rage House reserves the right to assess the cost of repair or replacement and to charge you accordingly.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Using tools or props in a manner not demonstrated by staff
  • Entering restricted areas or interacting with off-limits items
  • Removing required protective equipment
  • Engaging in actions outside the designated activity zones
  • Any conduct that disregards posted signage or staff direction

You understand that failure to follow instructions increases risk and may result in immediate session termination without refund, in addition to liability for damages.

10. Personal Belongings

Lockers or storage areas may be provided for your convenience. Rage House is not responsible for any personal items that are lost, stolen, or damaged while on the premises.

  • Phones, cameras, jewelry, and other valuables should remain outside the rage area unless explicitly allowed.
  • Phones may be brought into the rage room only if placed in the designated phone slot.
  • Rage House is not liable for damage to phones or personal items brought into the rage area.

11. Refusal and Termination of Service

Rage House reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a session, at any time and at our sole discretion, for reasons including but not limited to:

  • Visible intoxication or impairment
  • Violation of these Terms or the rules posted on the premises
  • Failure to wear required safety equipment
  • Aggressive or unsafe behavior
  • Conduct that creates a safety risk for staff, guests, or property

The refund consequences of refusal or termination are addressed in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

12. Photos, Video, and Media Release

By participating in any Activity, you consent to photographs and videos being taken of you, and to publication of those photographs and videos by the Releasees for advertising, promotional, and marketing purposes. You also consent to video monitoring throughout the building and in individual rooms for safety and security purposes. You waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of your image or recording.

If you do not wish to have your image used for marketing purposes, you must notify staff in writing (or by email to info@ragehouse.net) before your session begins. This opt-out applies only to marketing use and does not affect security camera operation or footage retention.

Full details of how we collect, use, store, and share images are described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Refunds and Cancellations

All refund, cancellation, rescheduling, late arrival, and termination-related questions are governed by the Rage House Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms, and any rights, duties, and obligations between you and Rage House, are governed by and interpreted solely in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, and no other jurisdiction. Any litigation involving the parties to these Terms shall be brought solely within the City of Houston and shall be within the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the State of Texas.

15. No Oral Representations

In agreeing to these Terms (and the Waiver), you confirm that you are not relying on any oral or written representations or statements made by the Releasees with respect to the safety of the Activities or the premises, other than what is expressly set forth in these Terms, the Refund & Cancellation Policy, the Privacy Policy, and the signed Waiver.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Refund & Cancellation Policy, the Privacy Policy, and the signed liability waiver, constitute the entire agreement between you and Rage House regarding your participation, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.

18. Changes to These Terms

Rage House may update these Terms at any time. The version in effect on the date of your booking is the version that governs that booking. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
