4. Security Cameras

For the safety of our staff and guests, video monitoring operates continuously throughout the building and in individual rooms, including rage rooms and splatter rooms. By signing the Participant Release of Liability and Accident Waiver, you expressly consent to this video monitoring. Footage is used to:

  • Monitor safety and respond to incidents

  • Defend against insurance claims and legal disputes
  • Train staff

Footage is retained for a limited period and is not used for marketing without your separate consent (see Section 5).

Photos and videos you take. Guests may take personal photos and videos with staff approval. Phones must be kept in the designated phone slot inside the rage room.

Photos and videos taken by Rage House. By signing the Participant Release of Liability and Accident Waiver — which includes a Photo/Video Release — you consent to photographs and videos being taken of you during your participation in the smash room, splatter room, or other Activities, and to publication of those photographs and videos by Rage House for advertising, promotional, and marketing purposes. You also waive any right to royalties or other compensation related to the use of your image or recording.

Your choices:

  • You may opt out of marketing use of your image by notifying staff in writing before your session begins, or by emailing info@ragehouse.net.
  • If you have already appeared in published material and want it removed, contact us and we will remove it from materials we control. We cannot recover content already shared, downloaded, or reposted by third parties.
  • Opting out of marketing use does not affect security camera operation or footage retention (see Section 4).
